The purpose of your role will be to build relationships with and persuade leaders to enroll in the conference and 1-2-1 meet-ups so that the sponsorship sales team can then sell meeting packages to learning providers who would like to talk to these leaders.
Your roles and responsibilities:
- Be creative in finding new and effective ways to recruit people to join the community and attend the events.
- Work with key prospective attendees to enroll them in relevant 1-2-1 meeting programs.
- Utilize content to attract and retain new community members.
- Actively promote the 1-2-1 meet-up program to existing partners.
- Track registration, producing contingency plans where necessary to meet target revenue and community development goals.
- Take ownership of the key and new business accounts, based on identified audience growth areas.
- Plan and execute attendee acquisition plans.
Experience and Skills:
- Be smart and a quick learner.
- Be extremely well organized.
- Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Be an effective salesperson.
- Be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
- Be on top of industry news and trends (funding raised, acquisitions, company results, etc.)
