The purpose of your role will be to build relationships with and persuade leaders to enroll in the conference and 1-2-1 meet-ups so that the sponsorship sales team can then sell meeting packages to learning providers who would like to talk to these leaders.

Your roles and responsibilities:

  • Be creative in finding new and effective ways to recruit people to join the community and attend the events.
  • Work with key prospective attendees to enroll them in relevant 1-2-1 meeting programs.
  • Utilize content to attract and retain new community members.
  • Actively promote the 1-2-1 meet-up program to existing partners.
  • Track registration, producing contingency plans where necessary to meet target revenue and community development goals.
  • Take ownership of the key and new business accounts, based on identified audience growth areas.
  • Plan and execute attendee acquisition plans.

Experience and Skills:

    • Be smart and a quick learner.
    • Be extremely well organized.
    • Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Be an effective salesperson.
    • Be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
    • Be on top of industry news and trends (funding raised, acquisitions, company results, etc.)
